Hometown post picks UNC-Charlotte
Olivia Rankin, the 6-foot-2 post from Salisbury, N.C., gave her verbal commitment to Karen Aston and the UNC-Charlotte 49ers, her FBC Southeast club coach Toni Gore told ESPN HoopGurlz.
"Olivia is a child of a coach and it is evident in that Olivia has a high basketball IQ," Gore said. "She is 6-2 and a back to the basket post. Olivia can rebounds well and finishes around the basket. The distance, 30 minutes from home, and coaching staff at Charlotte were deciding factors for Olivia."
