I am working on that list now. I will have am update today.
I am coaching the 15u in the High School Div for Lady Jags.

We have 4 starters missing on Jr. Team. (1 Med Summer School in VA, 2 others on unofficial visits and 1 injury in recovery)
So we will have to take this one off.

This is a copy and paste I got from Holla (Breakdown)...This Camp is getting good...I feel like a road trip...

Don't have the records of all the teams. The high school division played the bulk of their games at the Hecht Center. The travel team division played their games at the new practice facility. From the games I saw I thought Essence Black and Gauchos 1 were the more impressive teams on Day 1. Breakdown went 2-1, defeating Essence Purple by 12 or so and defeating Comets Red by about 25. However, losing to the Gauchos 61-51 left a bitter taste with the Breakdown faithful. Overall, I thought there was some quality teams and players. For a team camp there was some very good travel teams here, similar to the FSU Live event of a few years ago.

9:00am Orlando Comets vs. Hollywood Eagles
9:00am Essence Black vs. Gauchos 2
10:00am Breakdown vs. Below The Rim
10:00am Gauchos vs. Essence Purple

1:30pm Comets/Eagles winner vs. EGB Black/Gauchos 2 winner
1:30pm Breakdown/BTR winner vs. Gauchos 1/EGB Purple winner

3:30pm - Championship game

This is a copy and paste from Catbird (Breakdown) about the UM Camp.

NY Gauchos are very long and quick. Have 2-3 6' 3" or 4" girls and they have long guards. No short girls. Guards who are 5' 9"- 5' 11" with long wingspans. And the post players get up and down the court and one of those tall girls likes to shoot from the 3 point line. Breakdown did not look good against them.

Essence looks very solid also. Below the Rim had the Hollywood Christian guards playing with some big girls from Oklahoma. They lost to the Comets (and the Comets looked good) and I think to the Gauchos. Hollywood Eagles played the Gauchos tough and were tied with about 4 minutes to go but ended up losing by 11. Crystal Saunders, a 5' 8" guard, is their best player. They have some girls from South Broward and Dillard High Schools.

Comets did not have Henson and looked lost against Breakdown. Final score was 52-26. UM signee Selena Archer played in front of her college coach and did not impress. The guards and wing players were small and/or not very good outside shooters. Breakdown missed about 15 free throws or the score would have been worse.

In the high school division the best team looked to be Essence # 3 team. SF Jags had a 15 and under team that looked pretty good. But the competition in the high school division was night and day different than in the AAU or elite division. Some of the high school teams had their players (Hialeah) and some did not, and some looked like they were there with JV players.

This is a copy and paste from Catbird.

Comets Red beat Hollywood Eagles;
Essence handled Gauchos # 2
Breakdown layed an egg and lost by 4 to Below the Rim;
Breakdown beat Essence # 2 in a running clock game;
Essence will play Gaucho A team at 3:30 in one semi final.
Essence looks much the best.

Let me get this straight.   Comets beat BTR,  Breakdown crushes Comets, BTR beats Breakdown.

It seems to me that  Yeahhhhhh gets his team pumped up to play the Comets and then returns to reality against other teams, probably because of stuff I say on the Comets site.

I still say both teams are third tier teams.    Comets may even be third tier minus.    I haven't seem them play an impressive game all year.

Tough Competition This Weekend.

My Jags 15u Lost to Florida Storm by 3 points. That was one of the best teams in the High School Div.
We look forward to a rematch later in the season.

Coach Pam from UM will send all the scores for the Elite Div this eve than I will update the thread.

Cut and paste from Breakdown.

Catbird, You can say that again. Breakdown didnt not look very impressive this weekend. They are in no way the top team in the state even though they have alot of good talent.

The coaches first off need to be addresed. In no way is this staff qualified by any means. In their big game yesterday versus the Gauchos, they have one of their top guards on the bench (Barron) the last 8 minutes of the game while they play a 7th grader(Smalls) in her spot. No adjustments were made on defense and Breakdown did not handle the Gauchos press vewry well.(Zero Press Breaker) The Gauchos top player was also out the whole seconfd half.

Maye looked impressive attacking the bucket and going all out on defense but Williams did not get NEARLY enough touches at all. She would have dominated if so. The rest of the team just jacked up shots. This all is a reflection of the coaching staff or there for lack of. With this type of talent winning will come but versus good teams and good coaches Breakdown is vulnerable.

In todays game, enough said. A loss to Below the Rim aka Hollywood CHristian. Coaching and or players not ready.

I was not impressed with Selena Archer of Comets Red work ethic.
She was barely playing ball and looked as if she did not want to play at all.

She barely got up and down the court. The recruiters were scratching their heads as she did not impress.

I was coaching my own game during the BTR / Breakdown game.  The BTR team is pretty solid.  They have several players from OK that are absolute studs.
Their best players were not there this weekend, but the Rams dont have anything to worry about. They would beat the BTR team.

The Lady Jags Junior team almost beat BTR at Spring Fling 2, They overwhelmed us with some good post play and we were short 3 post players at Spring Fling 2. I would say that the rams would win by a margin of 12 to 15 points.
