Seattle U lands Emerald City local star
Renee Dillard-Brown, the 6-foot forward from Garfield High School, told ESPN HoopGurlz Friday that she has verbally committed to Seattle U. She is the first pledge for Joan Bonvincini's Redhawks in the 2011 class.
"I've always known I wanted to stay home," Dillard-Brown said.
She plans on studying to become a physical therapist and on top of not wanting to leave the state, she also liked Seattle U's academic pedigree and the small class sizes.
In her senior year she hopes to propel the Bulldogs back to the state tournament and is looking forward to showcasing her improved perimeter skills
