Best Players:

1st Team: Alexis Prince (Edgewater); Morgan Jones (Lake Mary); Trimaine McCullough (Edgewater); Taryn Griffey (Dr. Phillips) Ashley Perry (Leesburg)Monique Bunk (Olympia)

2nd Team: January Miller (university) ) Taj Kollore (Olympia)  sydnei mccaskill (dr. phillips) diamond cooper (west orange) ronnie williams (Atlantic) destiny woodard (nsb)

3rd Team Jordan Mosley (Timber Creek) Halee Clark (Edgewater) Nuri muhammad (colonial) simiah blount (West orange) akileah baxter (wekiva) morgan robinson (lyman)

Top Teams

1. Edgewater - McCullough & Prince along with Samira Cruz (SR) and Halee Clark (FR) will bring Edgewater back on top!
2. Lake Mary - Morgan Jones last year in Orlando who will be the next great player out of Lake Mary? They will start 4 players with Jones who did not start their freshman year at Lake Mary.
3. Olympia - Monique Bunk is back and led them to the playoffs in 2009 prior to her transfering. Taj Kollore has picked up a good number of Division 1 offers over the summer once she left the Comets. Look for them to go as far as their coach will let them go.
4. Leesburg - Ashley Perry is a future star in orlando and the future is now, she will take Leesburg as far as she can carry them and last year that was almost the final four, Leesburg is one of the best coached teams in the area.
5. Dr. Phillips - Taryn Griffey will star for the Panthers as a freshman and could lead them back to the final four this season as she fills the #1 spot left by Alexis Brown who left to go to North Gwinnett.
6. West Orange - Simiah Blount and Diamond Cooper had big summers and are ready to lead West Orange after starting off poorly last year they finished the season strong.
7. New Symrna Beach - Destiny Woodard is the real deal look for her and a healthy Jasmine HIll to be strong for David Adair and NSB.
8. OCP - Hope Palowski is one of the better players in Central Florida look for her and new coach Chris Cenicola to get back in the playoffs this year.
9. Bishop Moore - Camille Crooks hasnt be healthy in a while but if she is look for them to be back in the playoffs.
10. Timber Creek - Jordan Mosley returns and they have Jasmine Wigfall and Brittany Cross.

Another Perspective: Not a recruiting list, but a list of predicted production in this years high school season.

Alexis Prince
Morgan Jones
Ronnie Williams
January Miller
Trimaine McCullough

Sydney McCaskill
Morgan Robinson
Tynia McKenzie
Jordan Mosley
Joy Brown

Ashley Perry
Joleesa Blue
Alexis Fitts
Monique Bunk
Lindsay Silva

Teams:

1. Edgewater - Transfer of McCullough gives team two of top five players in the area. Incoming freshman from Next Level will also help this year.
2. Lake Mary - Despite key losses, team returns an experienced group and adds Fitts.
3. Dr. Phillips - Super talented young team loses Brown but gets potential top freshman in the area in Griffey.
4. Olympia - Bunk's return makes this team dangerous. Has a deep roster of kids who can play.
5. Leesburg - Another deep team led by a nice foursome in Blue, Perry, Bridges, and Russell.
6. Bishop Moore - Can they make another run in 3A? Their weakest team in years still might do it in a weak region behind Crooks and Silva.
7. University - Needs somebody to step up in place of key graduates, but Miller is one of the best in the area.
8. Lake Brantley - A team that will surprise some people.
9. Timber Creek - Addition of Mosley will make battle for second in this district interesting.
10. Atlantic - Ronnie Williams.

I dont think University will be that high although they may win their district that district is pretty bad now since Kim left Boone and they stopped getting players.

Since your number one team in the area is in that district, it's odd that you think University can win it.

I forgot Edgewater was in that district, but that University/Edgewater game could be ugly this year...
