WHAT A GREAT TOURNAMENT!!!!The Gym was fan packed and the competition was 1st rate! The players provided fantastic energy and excitement all weekend. The scouting services and coaches in attendance were thoroughly impressed with the assembled talent and were taking notes on every game. Most games were nail biters to the last second. The tournament was done showcase style like last year. The overall winner of the Diamond Division tournament based on point spreads and win/loss was the South FL Lady Jaguars.
The Lady Jaguars Elite team were a little short handed due to the ACT and testing of several players from out of state. However, as usual our players step up. Once again proving that our CORE is SOLID and will not be detered no matter who shows up to play. We can always count on
Zachara Bailey, April Carson, Clarissa Coddington, Jasmine Kelly, Chelsea Walters and Jana Wright.
Special hats off to some up and coming stars in our program for playing up with the Elite Team and actually contributing big this weekend.
Rishonti Cowart - 7th Grader, Akeyla Johnson - 8th Grader, Elizabeth Wright - 8th Grader. They are on their way to becoming premier players in Broward County.
