Daniel Olson is a respected leader in the field of women's basketball. Utilizing the knowledge that he's obtained in the past fifteen years of coaching, recruiting and evaluating the top basketball players in the country, Olson now provides the most comprehensive and accurate player critiques for coaches nationwide.

Olson began his successful career in women's basketball in 1991 as Head Women's Basketball Coach at Barry University, where he not only created the team from its' inception, but also was named Sunshine State Conference Coach-of-the-Year and made Barry the first team in conference history to make the NCAA tournament. He later utilized his creativity and formula for success at Lynn University, developing another program from it's' inception into a nationwide powerhouse in just three years.

Fast forward a few years and it can be seen that the coaching accomplishments of Daniel Olson encouraged him to dedicate himself even more to the genres of basketball recruiting and marketing. Parlaying his passion for the sport, he began Big "O" Sports Management in 2000, which specialized in the complete recruitment, development and placement of professional men's and women's basketball players in positions worldwide. The firm also coordinated and marketed numerous basketball camps showcasing thousands of players. His sports agency also focused on the financial management and updated resume and video production of each client, leaving no detail ignored in order to ensure the success of each player. As Olson traveled the country reviewing players to determine their potential, coaches came to learn the talent and knack he had for evaluations and rankings, making him highly sought-after for advice.

Since 2004, Olson has evaluated national high school, junior high and junior college girls basketball players and ranked and critiqued thousands of prospects for colleges and universities across the country. WHAT A GREAT TOURNAMENT!!!!

The Gym was fan packed and the competition was 1st rate! The players provided fantastic energy and excitement all weekend. The scouting services and coaches in attendance were thoroughly impressed with the assembled talent and were taking notes on every game.  Most games were nail biters to the last second. Below are some photos and top performers from the weekend.

The tournament was done showcase style like last year. The overall winner of the Diamond Division tournament based on point spreads and win/loss was the South FL Lady Jaguars.

The Lady Jaguars Elite team were a little short handed due to the ACT and testing of several players from out of state. However, as usual our players step up. Once again proving that our CORE is SOLID  and will not be detered no matter who shows up to play. We can always count on Zachara Bailey, April Carson, Clarissa Coddington, Jasmine Kelly, Chelsea Walters and Jana Wright.

Special hats off to some up and coming stars in our program for playing up with the Elite Team and actually contributing big this weekend. Rishonti Cowart - 7th Grader, Akeyla Johnson - 8th Grader, Elizabeth Wright - 8th Grader. They are on their way to becoming premier players in Broward County.

The Biggest Anticipated Match Up Was Orlando Comets vs FGB. The gym was packed for this one as two big time rival teams went head to head.

The Team Fowles vs Hollywood Eagles was a very exciting game to watch with lots of lead changes and both team playing hard.The Hollywood Eagles were up 1 with 3 seconds left on the clock. Team Fowles called a time out and inbounded the ball from half court. Danneal Ford of Team Fowles hoisted up a 20 foot runner and it was nothing but net to win the game over the Eagles. Team Fowles win 51-49.
