Lil Joey Skills Camp - June 30-July 2, 8 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Kangaroos Skills Camp - June 30-July 2, 8 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Elite Skills Camp - June 30-July 2, 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.

Team Camp - June 28-29


Eligibility
The Lil' Joey and Kangaroo Skills Camps are open to girls entering 1st through 5th grades and 6th through 8th grades, respectively. The Elite Skills Camp is open to players entering 9th through 12th grades. The team camp is open to players entering 9th through 12 grades.

Staff
The camp staff will feature UMKC Head Coach Candace Whitaker and her assistant coaches, with current UMKC women's basketball players serving as camp instructors as well.

Location
Air-conditioned Swinney Recreation Center, one block west of Rockhill Road at 51st and Holmes on the UMKC campus, is one of the finest camp facilities in the Midwest. The center includes five courts, 16 baskets and an indoor swimming pool, among other amenities.

Camp Hours & Registration
The Lil' Joey and Kangaroo Skills Camps will run from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., with the Elite Skills Camp running from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Registration for the camps will open at 7:45 a.m. on the first day of camp. Campers are encouraged to print off the application form, fill it out and mail it back to Coach Harrell UMKC women's basketball assistant coach, prior to camp.

Camp Features
- The Lil Joey Skills Camp will give campers a basic introduction to the game, its rules and techniques.
- The Kangaroo Skills Camp will allow campers to continue working on the fundamentals of the game while developing a better understanding of the orientation of the game, as well as offensive and defensive techniques.

- Campers in the Elite Skills Camp will take part in an extremely competitive and intense camp that will work on perfecting offensive and defensive techniques. This camp is intended to help players practice the skills that are necessary to compete in high school and college on a competitive level.

- The Team Camp is open to high school teams at the varsity and junior varsity levels. The camp will consist of daily play and a championship bracket with each team guaranteed six games. Team divisions will be based on experience and size and all games will be officiated by certified officials. Team camp is $60 per player and teams will be responsible for meals and housing.
