Alexis Jean blocked a shot with six seconds to play and came down with the defensive rebound Monday night as Lincoln Park Academy's girls basketball team defeated Martin County 63-62 in Fort Pierce.
"It was a barn-burner," Lincoln Park coach Wendel Adams said as his team improved to 18-2. "We knew it was going to be a close game. We led 51-49 going into the final period but Martin County came back to take a lead with three minutes to go."
After the Tigers took the lead, Adams called a timeout to regroup his team.
