4. There is only one difference between the District Qualifiers as it relates to the National Tournament and it effects the top team in the 8th Grade and the top team in the 11th Grade only.
The 2011 Florida District Championships hosted by Sunshine Sports has two seeds for the National Tournament. These seeds are for the 8th and 11th Grade Division I National Championships only. Teams will be awarded the seeded spots mentioned prior by finishing first in the 8th and 11th grade division in the Sunshine Sports District Qualifier. All other grade divisions are blind draws at the National Championships no matter which Florida District Qualifier you play in.
For Winning Ways Florida District Championship they have no seeding for 8th or 11th grades. Therefore if you are the top team in 8th or 11th grade, your seeding to Nationals from this tournament will be the same as all other age groups, through a blind draw.
Seeding for Nationals is only done for Division 1 Teams, Division 2 and 3 from Grades 2 to 12 are done by a blind draw no matter what District Qualifier you play in!
Teams are encouraged to play in both District Qualifiers if they chose to do so.
Playing in either one of the District Qualifiers will solidify any Super Regional Bid your team has received.
