ARIZONA GETS NIKE SPONSORED PROGRAM!

Nike is one of the greatest and most recognized companies in the world.  Nike, the world's leading supplier in athletic shoes and apparel, with excess revenue of US $18.6 billion in their 2008 fiscal year, employing more than 300,000 people worldwide in 2008, is also well known for their grassroots basketball and marketing involvement.  Nike assists young men and women through their Nike Elite Youth Basketball (EYB) program, sponsoring a very limited number of travel teams each year.  Usually, already established programs must demonstrate a high-level of performance, community involvement and player development. Currently there are only 17 first tier and 4 second tier sponsored girls' programs nationally.  You can now add an Arizona program to that list.  The current GSB (Gregory Strickling Basketball) program founded by Gregory Strickling has been awarded the coveted sponsorship.
